Antonis Andoniou

Antonis attended high school in Limassol, Cyprus and following his military service, proceeded to read his LLB in law at the University of Nicosia. He continued his legal studies at City, University of London completing his LLM with commendation in international commercial law with specialisation in energy. Antonis speaks Greek at a native speaker level.
Antonis started working as a paralegal in 2016 at a busy north London firm whilst also reading for the Legal Practice Course part time. He joined Nicholas & Co in October 2018 as a paralegal and was awarded a training contract shortly afterwards. Having completed seats in Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Dispute Resolution, he was admitted as a solicitor in August 2020.
Antonis has gained significant exposure to high-value, complex property transactions for both private individuals and commercial entities. His experience extends to residential and commercial acquisitions and disposals, purchase and sale of property at auction, portfolio re-financing, secured lending and loan documentation, negotiating and drafting commercial leases. His most recent cases include:
- Acting on the purchase of a freehold office block in London for approximately £1.58m assisted by a secured loan.
- Acting on an auction purchase of Grade II listed mixed use building in Marylebone assisted by secured loan and subsequent private sale for £2.5m
- Acting on the purchase of a car park and subsequent auction sale for £1.4m
- Acting on various Landlord and Tenant transactions - drafting and negotiating leases and dealing with licences of commercial premises.
In his spare time, Antonis enjoys boxing, travelling and socialising with friends and family.
