Partnership disputes
Partnerships are where two or more persons carry on business in common with a view to profit. They can be established either via a written partnership agreement, or through a verbal agreements or working arrangements over a period of time.
Disputes can arise for a variety of reasons, for example over governance, share of profits or losses, partner misconduct and ending the partnership.
As partners are subject to contractual, statutory and fiduciary duties, there is a wide scope for potential breach of contract and/or duty claims.
