Collective Enfranchisement

We have many years’ experience and an in-depth knowledge in acting for both landlords and tenants (also known as leaseholders) in the statutory process, as well as privately, in purchasing the freehold of their properties. This process is known as collective enfranchisement, which was reformed in The Leasehold Reform (Housing and Urban Development) Act 1993, as amended.

We are able to assist you throughout; from the early stages through to completion.

Every transaction is different and in some cases, depending on the nature of the landlord and the legal title, complex legal questions can arise. We are well equipped to deal with these and find a way forward with you.
