Jack Haskew

Partner

Jack leads our private client team, and specialises in wills, trusts, and estates advice and administration. His practice has encompassed civil and family litigation, advocacy, and tax.

Jack develops personalised solutions for clients, who frequently return to him as their first port of call, with one citing his “professionalism combined with his extremely personable demeanour”.

“His expertise in inheritance tax, estate planning, probate and will disputes proved invaluable” and “such a help, during a difficult time.”

Clients have hailed Jack as a “mine of information, expertise, insight and compassion”, and have remarked on his combination of “ability to contextualise” with his “astute analysis of dynamics”.

Jack studied law at the University of Southern California and philosophy at the University of Connecticut. A post-graduate fellowship with a legal aid charity took him to the Navajo Nation, where he first qualified as a US Attorney-at-Law in New Mexico in 1997 and practiced as a tribal court advocate. He began his private client career in London in 2003, and qualified as a UK solicitor in 2006.

Jack enjoys activities with his three boys on the weekends, and finds that five days of recovery in the office is usually sufficient respite before returning to the fray. Both Jack and his wife fondly recall having hobbies.
